Uptown Jammin’ Newsletter for October 2022

Welcome to October! Please join us on October 7th for our First Friday Uptown Jammin’ Dance Party.

October is best known for its Halloween festivities, but it’s also a month loaded with national and global celebrations. In Germany, the U.S., and elsewhere around the world people celebrate “Oktoberfest” – an upbeat celebration usually involving lots of German food, beer, frolicking and dancing.

It’s also “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” and, notably, the first Friday in October is “Lee National Denim Day” – a one-day fundraising event to support breast cancer research.

So, wear your Lee denims, bring your family and friends, and let’s have a blast! If you are accompanied by guests, let us know who’s in your group so we can give them a “Shout-Out”!

See you Friday! Don’t forget your fans and flashlights! 😉
